I believe that current behaviors and painful feelings can be linked to our past relationships. Many times old patterns of relating can be triggered by new situations, new relationships, trauma or stress. Together, by looking back, we can find new ways of coping and create new and more satisfying way of being with our selves and others.
With over twenty years of experience as a clinician, I am a graduate of both Chapman University and Newport Psychoanalytic Institute. Working with a broad spectrum of issues, I currently hold a Doctorate in Psychoanalysis, specializing in depth psychology and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. My training includes study in the works or Freud, Winnicott, Klein, Guntrip, and Fairbairn, as well as the current works of Stanley Greenspan, Daniel Stern and other developmental researchers.
In addition, I have approximately seven years experience with North Orange County Community College District, School of Continuing Education, working with single mothers and in career counseling.
